JAMUL, CA (July 13, 2026) – Jamul Casino Resort has once again been recognized among “San Diego’s Best,” earning numerous honors in the 2026 San Diego Union-Tribune Readers Poll. The resort claimed top awards for Best San Diego Hotel and Best Staycation Location, while also taking earning top rankings across Entertainment, Dining, Nightlife and Hospitality categories that highlight the property’s exceptional guest experiences.
Leading the resort’s list of accolades, Starlite Pool was named Best Day Club/Pool Party, while Fly Room took home Best Speakeasy. JIVe Lounge was recognized as Best Entertainment Venue along with Favorite Nightclub, Favorite Live Music Venue (Under 3,000 People) and Favorite Bartender, Rachel Serrano, reinforcing its reputation as one of San Diego’s top destinations for nightlife and live entertainment.
Tony Gwynn’s Sports Pub was honored for its unbeatable game-day atmosphere, award-winning food and outstanding service. The venue was voted Best Sports Bar, while its signature burger was named Best Hamburger, and Laura Donathan earned Best Restaurant Server. Additional Favorite accolades included Chef Shaun Schuette, Restaurant Server Tish Williams, and Bartender Jesse Serrano.
Known for sweeping panoramic views of the Jamul mountains and luxurious dining experience, Prime Cut Steakhouse & Seafood was selected as Best Romantic Restaurant. The acclaimed steakhouse also earned recognition for Favorite Steakhouse and Casino Dining, along with Favorite Chef, Greg Coyle, Favorite Bartender, Scott Beckel, and Favorite Restaurant Servers, Paris Thammavong and Antoine Bennett.
Additionally, Loft 94 was recognized as Best Sushi along with Favorite Pho/Noodle House and Favorite Bartender Jessenia Clavel. Emerald Chinese Cuisine received Favorite Chinese Restaurant with Chef Wilfredo Colobong also honored as a Favorite Chef. Lastly, Chef Lincoln William of Jamul Marketplace was honored as Best Chef along with High Limit Bar’s Victor Hughes who received recognition as a Favorite Bartender.
