JAMUL, CA (June 11, 2026) – Jamul Casino Resort proudly welcomes Marcus Lucero as Vice President of Casino Operations. Marcus joins the team with more than 20 years of gaming leadership experience and a track record of operational excellence within Tribal gaming. In his new role, he will oversee all casino operations including slots, table games, poker and player development, with a focus on driving revenue growth and enhancing the guest experience.

Throughout his career, Marcus has successfully led gaming operations across some of Southern California’s premier Tribal gaming destinations. Most recently, he served as Vice President of Casino Operations at Morongo Casino Resort & Spa, where he provided executive leadership across all aspects of the casino floor. Prior to that, he held leadership positions with Soboba Casino Resort and Valley View Casino & Hotel, where he earned a reputation for operational discipline, strategic execution and an unwavering commitment to service excellence. Over the course of his career, he consistently delivered strong financial results, optimized gaming performance and fostered cultures centered on guest satisfaction and team engagement.
